I'm a seasoned software developer from Germany, with over three decades of experience, starting in 1987. Having worked with a wide range of technologies, I found my true passion in JavaScript in the late 1990s. Since then, I've become an expert in the language, leading the “JavaScript the Language” meetup where I guide developers through its nuances and the ECMAScript specification with a focus on test-driven development. My deep knowledge of clean coding principles and TDD has established me as a trusted craftsman in the industry.

In addition to my technical expertise, I've founded two companies, including a JavaScript consultancy, and I'm currently working on a new venture focused on sustainability. As a long-time advocate of the software crafters community, I'm driven by the belief that software should solve real-world problems efficiently and sustainably. My strong focus on delivering purpose-driven solutions and my ability to mentor and collaborate with teams make me a reliable partner for CTOs and decision-makers looking for high-quality, scalable, and future-proof software solutions.

What is jslang.dev?

jslang.dev is the love child of #jslang (on LinkedIn), a meetup I, Wolfram, birthed in 2015, where JavaScript isn't just a language – it's an adventure. Here, we don't just talk code, we roll up our sleeves, write test-driven, readable magic, and dive headfirst into the ECMAScript spec like a group of code archaeologists. With 25 years of coding under my belt (and plenty of JavaScript-induced caffeine), I'm on a mission to unlock JavaScript's secrets, one beautifully written test and nerdy spec read at a time.
